Match Data & Methodology
This page describes the data shown by FCM66 Football Scores, how it is refreshed and how derived statistics are calculated.
Football match information
Fixtures, status, scores, events, statistics, tables, team identifiers and badges are synchronized through a licensed football information service. FCM66 stores snapshots so useful information can remain visible during a temporary service or network interruption.
Typical refresh intervals
- Live scores use a shared cache, normally around 30 seconds;
- fixture schedules and general competition data normally refresh around every 15 minutes;
- single-match events and statistics normally use a five-minute cache;
- standings and prediction snapshots normally use a one-hour cache;
- team and competition reference data normally use a 24-hour cache.
These are system intervals, not a guarantee that every event has already been officially confirmed. Pages display an update time when a reliable synchronized timestamp is available.
Calculated information
Recent form is calculated from completed matches from each team’s perspective: three points for a win, one for a draw and none for a loss. Penalty shoot-outs use the synchronized final winner flag. League in-form lists use recent form points, then season goal difference and current table position as tie-breakers.
Status and schedule changes
Not started, live, half-time, completed, extra-time, penalties, postponed, suspended, abandoned and cancelled statuses follow the synchronized match record. Competition organisers may later amend a kick-off time, score or ruling. Important decisions should be checked against the relevant official organiser.
Limitations and corrections
Coverage varies by competition and may be delayed, incomplete or corrected. A missing statistic does not mean an event did not happen. Report suspected errors through Contact Us. Our handling of articles and corrections is explained in the Editorial Policy.
